Plan Do See’s first restaurant in the United States, Sushi Azabu, is one of the most popular and highly rated Omakase establishments in New York City. The design brief was simple, bring an elevated and authentic aesthetic to the Michelin-rated restaurant. Our design touches on many traditional and authentic Japanese design aesthetics while keeping the overall space minimal and free of distractions. The scope includes a full gut-renovation to the two-story space, a new bar, dining room and omakase counter made from traditional Hinoki wood from Japan.
